lyrics
Truth that crumbles down your temple
Chaos the loss of all systems
I am the sanctum that outlast all cell
I‘m the destroyer of fictual hope
I am the shadow sourrounding all beings
I am the death that comes in waves
I am enthropy
The force that crushes all matter
The time that‘s melting away
Fire burns your shrines
I am destruction
I am the law
I am the struggle
Tear down the obsolete principles
Obsolete principles
I am the sanctum that outlast all cell
I‘m the destroyer of fictual hope
I am the shadow sourrounding all beings
I am the death that comes in waves
The healing of existence
The relief of diseased flesh
The blackhole that swallows all life
The might that feeds the circle
I am the law
I am the struggle
Tear down the obsolete principles
Obsolete principles
I am the serpent embracing the sphere
I am the space that tears apart
I am the one that ever becomes
That ever becomes
The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74
US Melodic Black Metal. This may be a debut full length but it is from some highly experienced musicians. The melodies & the vocals are outstanding & I hope to hear more from these guys soon! Recommended! bmurator
The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024
Extraordinary work by Antrisch, can't stop listening to it although Black Metal usually struggles to convince me.
Same like for Antrisch's EXPEDITION I: Dissonanzgrat applies: This album is strong from its first sounds of creaking wooden hull to its last sounds of wind and waves, deciding for a favourite track would not do justice for the geniality of the remaining five, the one coming closest to a favourite one could be I FESTGEFROREN - Packeisfalle in my opinion. onkelchristoph
